Chappaqua Neighborhood Graffitied on July 4th

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- New Castle Police responded Monday to a criminal mischief call on Salem Road. Reportedly, red and black spray paint was used to graffiti the stone bridge on Salem Road, the stop sign at the corner of Brook Lane and Salem, the stone bridge on the right side of the Hollow Oak Lane, and the curve ahead-sign on Hollow Oak with red and black spray paint. According to police, no suspects were found.

The following items were also reported by the New Castle Police Department:

• On June 29, there was a report of criminal mischief on 11 Chatham Road, in the same neighborhood as the criminal mischief reported on July 4. Reportedly, the back side window of a vehicle parked in the driveway as shattered, no suspects were found.

• On June 28, there was an identity theft reported in Chappaqua at 32 Ledgewood Commons.
