NEW CASTLE, N.Y. Gas prices in Chappaqua and Millwood have come down slightly following two weeks of significant increases. Here is where you can find the least expensive gas throughout the area:
As of Thursday, three stations in New Castle are tied for the cheapest regular gas. Shell at 114 South Greeley Ave., Mobil at 208 Saw Mill River Road and Shell at 201 Saw Mill River Road are all offering $4.19 per gallon.
The most expensive prices in town belong to the Mobil station at 25 South Bedford Road, which is offering regular gas at $4.29 per gallon. The prices at all four stations in New Castle are down from a week ago.
According to Automotive.com, cheaper prices can be had for residents willing to travel a little farther. Sunoco at 159 Bedford Road is offering regular gas at $4.08 per gallon and Shell at 332 Manville Road is offering $4.10 per gallon.
Figures indicate cash prices, with debit and credit card users being charged $0.10 more per gallon.
