Results from the Chappaqua school district - the library is an autonomous arm of the district - show that 1,211 voted in favor of the budget while just 188 voted against it.

Meanwhile, Pamela Wright and Audrey Brooks won a pair of seats on the Chappaqua Library Board, prevailing in a 7-candidate contest.

Results from the school district show that Wright received 577 votes while Brooks garnered 343.

For the other candidates, Leslie Wertheim received 320 votes; Richard Ma got 298; Jennifer Lem got 170; Paige Nesis got 169; and Nishat Hydari got 132.

By finishing with the most votes, Wright won a spot that carries a full, 5-year term. Brooks will serve for an unexpired, 1-year term to replace Gerry Golub, who died last fall.

Golub's former spot will be up for re-election next May for a new term.
