Book Festival, Bake Sale In Store For Chappaqua On Saturday

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Two of Chappaqua's most prominent annual events will take place this Saturday.

The Chappaqua Children's Book Festival will take place at the Robert E. Bell Middle School parking lot from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival is scheduled to feature more than 80 authors; the list can be viewed here.

Other kid-friendly scheduled activities include face painting, balloon twisting and a magic show.

Meanwhile, The Great Chappaqua Bake Sale will be inside the middle school and also run from 10 a.m to 4 p.m. The goal of the bake sale is to raise money to fight childhood hunger, its announcement states.

The bake sale has a $25,000 fundraising goal for this year; donations can be made here.
