Amber Alert Canceled For Upstate 18-Month-Old

The New York State AMBER Alert for 18-month-old Damon Heller has been canceled. The boy has been found and is safe.

New York State AMBER Alert system has been activated after a child abduction that occurred in Cincinnatus, New York, near Cortland, at about noon on Sunday. 

The child, Damon Heller is a white male, approximately 1 year, 6 months old with blond hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 3-feet tall and weighs about 30 pounds. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and jeans.

The suspecw, Kyle Heller is a white male, approximately 29 years old with brown hair and blue eyes. He is approximately 5-foot-11 inches and weighs about 192 pounds. 

Information is leading police to believe the child is in imminent danger of serious physical injury or death, authorities said. 

Anyone with any information on this abduction is asked to call the Cortland County Sheriff's Office at (866)N Y S-AMBER or dial 911 to provide information on a report or sighting.
