Accidents Cause Delays On I-287, Taconic State Parkway, Saw Mill Parkway

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A pair of accidents are causing delays for Westchester drivers on Tuesday morning.

An accident on eastbound I-287 reported at 8:20 a.m. blocked the shoulder and resulted in stop-and-go delays between I-87 and Route 22 (Exit 6) in White Plains.

An accident that had been blocking the right lane on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Pleasantville between Manville Road (Exit 29) and Bedford Road (Exit 28) has been cleared, but there are still heavy backups.

There were stop-and-go delays as a result of an accident between Franklin D. Roosevelt State Park and Underhill Avenue on the southbound Taconic State Parkway in Yorktown.

There were also heavy delays on southbound I-684 on the Putnam and Westchester border.
