Accidents Abound Amid Rain, Slush, Snow In Westchester

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The mix of rain, slush and snow in Westchester County on Wednesday morning has resulted in several accidents.

A rollover accident reported at 1:20 p.m. on northbound I-684 is causing heavy delays near Route 120 (Exit 2) in Purchase and emergency responders are at the scene.

An accident reported late in the morning has taken out the right lane on the southbound Saw Mill in Mount Pleasant between Route 9A (Exit 25) and Saw Mill Road (Exit 23).

There is stop-and-go traffic on the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway between North Avenue (Exit 17) in New Rochelle and Weaver Street (Exit 20) in Scarsdale as a result of flooding.

An overturned vehicle led to stopped traffic on the southbound Saw Mill River Parkway in Mount Kisco between Croton Avenue and Route 133/Main Street. The accident was reported at 10:15 a.m.

There was also an overturned vehicle earlier in the morning resulting in stopped traffic on northbound Route 9A in Ossining between Hawkes Avenue and Cedar Lane.
