CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. A 4-year-old girl was "conscious and alert" after being struck by a vehicle in front of 125 King St. on Tuesday, according to New Castle Police Lt. Dan Cannon. She was transported to Westchester Medical Center for evaluation and possible treatment.
According Kathy Gullotta, a dental assistant at Richard Liparis office at 125 King St., the driver of the car slowed down before striking the girl, appearing to prevent serious injury. Shes fine, she was conscious and everything. The woman, thank God, was not going fast and was stopped. said Gullotta. "It's just a sad situation that it even had to happen."
The accident in under investigation by New Castle Police.
