Gas Leak Closes Road In Central PA: Police (Update) A natural gas leak has shuttered a main road in Central Pennsylvania, the police announced on Thursday afternoon. The 2100 block of Market Street "is currently closed to vehicles and pedestrians," the Camp Hill police stated in a release at 2:58 p.m. on May 9. "The gas leak has been contained however Market Street will remain closed between 21st and 22nd Streets until further notice," the police said at 4:52 p.m.  The public continues to be urged to avoid the area.  No additional information was available as of 4:56 p.m. Check back here for details on this developing situation.

Teen Shot In Central PA, Police Say A 16-year-old boy was shot in Harrisburg on Wednesday night, the police announced the following morning.  The teen was found by officers responding to a call of shots fired in the Hall Manor apartment complex around 8 p.m. on May 8, the Bureau of Police detailed in the release.  The boy was taken "to a local hospital for emergency care" for a "non-life-threatening gunshot wound," the police said.
