Friday, April 20

Menus in the Movies : 7 p.m. Food author and film buff Carol Durst will continue her Menu in the Movies series with a showing of the film “Tampopo.” Homemade desserts and discussion to follow the film. The event is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library.

Horace Greeley High School Senior Musical - "Xanadu": 8 p.m., Horace Greeley High School. The 2012 senior class will be performing "Xanadu" in the school's auditorium. Tickets will be sold an hour before each performance in the auditorium lobby.

Saturday, April 21

Chappaqua Farmers Market : 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Church of St. Mary the Virgin.

Bridge and Scrabble Club : 10 a.m. While bridge play is not for beginners, all levels are welcome for Scrabble. The club meets weekly and is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library.

Chappaqua Volunteer Fire Department Open House : 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. The department will open the doors to its King Street firehouse for interested adults on Saturday and Sunday. The recruitment drive is being held as part of a statewide program with the New York State Association of Fire Chiefs. Chappaqua Firehouse.

Chappaqua Volunteer Ambulance Corps Open House: 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. The ambulance corps will have an open house for all interested community members on Saturday at its 233 North Greeley Ave. headquarters.
