Monday, June 18

New Castle Planning Board: 7 p.m. Homeland Towers will return to the planning board for a public hearing on its proposed wireless telecommunications tower for Millwood. New Castle Town Hall, assembly room, 200 S. Greeley Ave.

Informal Writing Workshop: 7:30 p.m. Residents are encouraged to bring short prose, poetry, ideas or simply a desire to write to an evening of supportive feedback with fellow writers. The workshop is led by Joan Schulman. It is free and open to the public, but preregistration is necessary. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Tuesday, June 19

Chappaqua School Board meeting: 8:15 p.m. Horace Greeley High School, academic commons, 70 Roaring Brook Road.

Chappaqua Library Board meeting: 7:30 p.m. Call 914-238-4779 to verify time and location. Chappaqua Library. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Wednesday, June 20

Field Day: 3:30 p.m. Kindergartners to fifth-graders are invited to celebrate summer with races, games and outdoor fun. Registration is necessary as space is limited. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

New Castle Town Board work session: 7:30 p.m. The Town Board will meet for a work session. New Castle Town Hall, conference rooms A&B, 200 S. Greeley Ave.

Thursday, June 21

Mah Jongg Club: 7 p.m. The Mah Jongg club is for players at all levels. Instruction as well and coffee, tea and cookies will be provided. The library will provide cards but those attending are asked to bring boards, if possible. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
