A touch of fall is in the air! Here are some of the things to do in Chappaqua this weekend.

Chappaqua Farmer’s market

If you haven’t had a chance to check out Chappaqua’s Farmer’s market, there is still time. The market which features produce, baked goods, cheeses, eggs, fruit, fish, and prepared foods will be open every Saturday until November. You can also enjoy local entertainment, activities for children, and a market café.

End of Summer Music Festival and kayak launch

Louis Engel Waterfront Park

Westerly Road and Secor Road, Ossining, NY 10562

Saturday, September 17

 

Enjoy live music all day long with craft and food vendors. Bands are scheduled to play from 12 to 8 p.m. Sailboat trips from the dock at the park on a 39 ft C&C will be available from 2 to 5 p.m. The opening of a new kayak launch area will begin at 1:30 p.m.

 

This event is open to the public.

Get to know the community organizations as well as enjoy live bands, games, food and entertainment for the whole family.

 

September is the perfect month to grab family and friends and head out to the local orchard for some apple picking. The former Outhouse Orchards, now known as Harvest Moon Farm & Farm and Orchard, located at 130 Hardscrabble Road in Croton Falls and Stuart’s Fruit Farm located at 62 Granite Springs Road in Granite Springs are two local orchards that offer this great fall weather activity,
