Westchester Pet Of The Week: Tiger

WESTCHESTER, N.Y. — Tiger is a male lab/pit bull mix who is intelligent and energetic. He is a great dog who would flourish in a home with a structured routine that includes daily walks and play.

Tiger knows beginner and intermediate obedience commands that you can use in your home or when out on walks. He enjoys showing off his commands and eagerly tries to please his handler.

He is a handsome boy who loves to lean on his human friends to be petted or to lie on his back for belly rubs. Tiger has also made several visits to one of his human friend’s home and loves car rides and being in a home. He can’t wait to find his own forever home.

Tiger’s adoption comes with four training sessions with a certified dog trainer to help his new family learn the obedience commands he was taught. He is also up-to-date on all vaccinations, neutered and microchipped.

Tiger wants nothing more than for you to come visit him at the Putnam Humane Society, 68 Old Route 6, Carmel. See the website or call 845-225-7777.

The Putnam Humane Society is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
