NY Times Profiles History Professor Kenneth Jackson Of Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The New York Times recently followed Chappaqua resident and Columbia University professor Kenneth T. Jackson as he gave a lecture on the history of New York City in a unique setting.

Jackson sat atop his bike, lecturing to about 200 students at 2 a.m. Jackson, 75, has been conducting the class since the mid-1970s and says the students learn better by seeing where the history actually took place, The New York Times said.
