CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- New Castle's first responders will be honored for their efforts following Hurricane Sandy at a special ceremony at the 45th annual Chappaqua Antiques Show on Sunday at noon.

"The brave volunteer men and women of the EMT-Chappaqua Ambulance Volunteers and the Chappaqua and Millwood Fire Departments who help our community on a daily basis are deserving of this recognition and so much more," the New Castle Historical Society said in a statement.

The Millwood Fire Department will also have its 1924 American LaFrance Brockway Engine on display both days during the Show.

New this year to the Chappaqua Antiques Show is Paul Nulton, master glass restorer .

Nulton is an artisan who can smooth out the rough spots and remove the shadows from your favorite pieces. He is an expert at repairing everything from Steuben and Waterford to your favorite glass bowls, vases, and paperweights.

The public can bring their pieces to Nulton’s booth at the Show for estimates and, time permitting, for work on the spot.

Certified Appraiser Jon Felz will be on the stage both days of the show to provide verbal appraisals of your treasures for a nominal charge. Creative consultant and interior designer Kim Freeman will be available for design advice for those unsure how to mesh antique and modern elements in their rooms to add depth and interest to living spaces.

The 45th Chappaqua Antiques Show will be held at Westorchard School, 25 Granite Road.
