How To Join the Chappaqua Volunteer Fire Dept.

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y.—The Chappaqua Fire Department is an all-volunteer group providing emergency services in New Castle Fire District #1, a nine square mile coverage area. The Fire Department was founded in 1910 and consists of an engine, ladder and a rescue company.

All applicants must be  at least 16 years old, live within New Castle Fire District #1, and be willing to train to become an official firefighter and have a desire to help you neighbors.Are you ready to jump on board? Stop by the Chappaqua Firehouse on Senter Street any Thursday evening around 7:30 p.m. or call the chief’s office at 914-238-0819 and leave a message or click here to fill out an online request form to be contacted by a current member of the Chappaqua Fire Department.Do you have an interest in joining the Fire Department?
