Enjoy Your Weekend in New Castle!

CHAPPAQUA,N.Y.—If you’re looking for things to do this weekend in New Castle, you have plenty of options. You can visit the Chappaqua Farmers’ Market, a tag sale, learn to play bridge or scrabble at the Chappaqua Library or even catch a movie.

On Saturday, there is the Chappaqua Farmers Market from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. offering fresh produce, breads, cheeses, even lemonade and a burrito for lunch. Stop by the market and you’ll likely run into a neighbor or a coworker while local bands serenade shoppers.

Also on Saturday, the Chappaqua Library Bridge and Scrabble Club meets at 10 a.m. at the library offering Bridge instruction as well as games of Scrabble and Bridge. Players of all experience levels are welcome.

Throughout the weekend, there are two tag sales, one on Tall Timber Road and the other on Pondfield Drive South, both in Chappaqua. These sales are offering home furniture, garden/garage tools and other housewares.

If you’re bored and want to avoid the rain, stop by the Mt. Kisco Cinema for a movie. It is comfortable, cool and cost-effective for the whole family.
