CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. – Chappaqua residents Alex Charney and Dennis Charney are among the first entries in the Charles River Watershed Association’s 31st Annual "Run of the Charles Canoe and Kayak Race," which will be held Sunday, April 28, in Weston, Mass.
The race, which celebrates the tradition of the Charles River, draws 1,500 paddlers and thousands of spectators to enjoy a day full of competition and festivities on the river.
Alex is entered in the “Open Category” of the 19-Mile Race, while Dennis has entered into the “Senior Category” of the 19-Mile Race.
