Village Creamery & Sweet Shop, Valhalla

The Scoop: In business three years, this cozy shop is all about homemade ice cream made in-house with no artificial coloring. A previous DVlicious "Best Ice Cream" winner, it's known for its homey ambiance (run by a husband and wife team), and large assortment of funky -- and classic -- flavors. Among the standouts: PB/ Nutella Swirl, Cookie Dough, Bananas Foster, Irish Cream, and Let's Do Brunch (maple syrup ice cream with French toast and bacon).

The shop also recently added edible cookie dough to its menu which is made sans eggs.
