Wizard Of Oz Coming To Westchester Broadway Theatre

ELMSFORD, N.Y. -- Westchester Broadway Theatre will produce The Wizard of Oz as it continues its 40th anniversary celebration. The show runs July 31-Sept. 21.

WBT’s version of The Wizard Of Oz premiered in London in 1987 and opened in the United States in 1988 starring Cathy Rigby as Dorothy at the Long Beach Civic Light Opera in Long Beach, Calif. This version has become a very popular musical in the United States and has been touring since 2008. ?

WBT’s features Devon Perry as Dorothy, Ken Jennings as The Wizard of Oz, Tim Dolan as the Scarecrow, Jayson Elliott (Lion), Chris Kind as the Tin Man, Michelle Dawson as Glinda, the Good Witch, Nicole Tori as the Wicked Witch and Nadine Zahr as Auntie Em. The ensemble includes, Paul Aguirre, Michael Dauer, Aubrey Mae Davis, Benjamin Dean, Jimmy Larkin, Laura Macinski, Justine Magnusson, Megan Marod and  Matty Rickard.

The production is directed and choreographed by Richard Stafford, who has been at the helm for many WBT productions .

Dinner and show prices range between $54 and $80 plus depending on the performances chosen. Beverage service and gratuities are not included in the ticket price.
