Friday, Aug. 24

Family Film: 4 p.m. Join the Chappaqua Library in its theater for feature-length films for all ages. The event is free and open to the public. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Open Houses: Check out our real estate page for several open houses this weekend.

Second-Hand Book Sale : 8:30 p.m. Horace Greeley High School graduate Cerianne Robertson will be selling second-hand books at the Chappaqua Farmers Market to raise money for Circle of Women, a student-run nonprofit that builds and supports girls’ secondary schools around the world. There will also be free face painting. 191 S. Greeley Ave.

Chappaqua Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Church of St. Mary the Virgin, 191 S. Greeley Ave.

Bridge and Scrabble Club: 10 a.m. While bridge play is not for beginners, all levels are welcome for Scrabble. The club meets weekly and is free. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Jazz Concert: 3 p.m. Jazz guitarist Donald Mohr will perform at the Chappaqua Library. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Sunday, Aug. 26

Kittle House Concert: 7:30 p.m. Jazz vocalist Claire Walsh will perform a concert in the Tap Room at Crabtree’s Kittle House. Walsh is a Somers High School graduate and a junior at the University of Delaware. Assaf Gleizner, a graduate of the SUNY Purchase Jazz Conservatory, will accompany Walsh.
