Art All Day: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Craft materials available for hands-on fun for children of all ages with an adult. The event is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
Children's Short Films: 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Watch picture books come alive on the big screen. The event is for all ages and is free and open to the public. 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Town Closings: The Chappaqua Library and New Castle Town Hall will be closed for Independence Day.
Thursday, July 5
Thursday Night Book Discussion Group: 7:30 p.m. Susan Zangler will lead a discussion on "Paradise" by Toni Morrison. Ask at the information desk for a copy of the book. The event is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
Mah Jongg Club: 7 p.m. The club is for players at all levels. Instruction, as well as coffee, tea and cookies will be provided. The library will provide cards but those attending are asked to bring boards, if possible. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
Night Owls: 7 p.m. The Chappaqua Library will continue its summer tradition of Night Owls story times for children ages three to five with an adult. 195 S. Greeley Ave.
