Monday, Sept. 24

Foreign Policy Discussion Group: 10 a.m. Lee Rohde will facilitate a discussion on world population sustainability. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

New Castle Town Board Meeting: 7:45 p.m. New Castle Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Ave.

Wednesday, Sept. 26

School Closings: All Chappaqua schools will be closed for Yom Kippur.

Thursday, Sept. 27

NCCMC Documentary Film Series: 5 p.m. NCCMC will screen "REBIRTH", a full-length documentary that premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January of 2011. The film chronicles the years-long journey of five people whose lives were shattered by the  9/11 terrorist attacks. Screenings at NCCMC are free and open to the public but registration is required. Young Critics Book Discussion Group: 7 p.m. Students in between fourth and sixth grade discuss books. Registration is necessary as space is limited. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Chappaqua School Board: 8:15 p.m. Horace Greeley High School, Academic Commons. 70 Roaring Brook Road.

New Castle Justice Court: 7:30 p.m. Justice Court is in session every Thursday at New Castle Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Ave.
