Friday, Jan. 4

Teen Film: The Artist: 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Grades 7-12 are welcomed to travel back to 1920s Hollywood with this winner of five Academy Awards, including best picture. Chappaqua Library 195 S. Greeley Ave.

First Fridays: Music To Start Your Weekend: 7:30 p.m. First Friday welcomes the Zach Resnick Quintet. Zach Resnick is a double-degree trumpet and guitar player studying Jazz Performance at Oberlin College and Conservatory. The quintet will play mostly original music. Chappaqua Library 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Saturday, Jan. 5

Practice SAT/ACT: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Grades 9-12 can sample both exams and compare scores. Provided by Kaplan. Chappaqua Library 195 S. Greeley Ave.

All Together Now: 11 a.m. Join the Chappaqua Library for some morning story time. For those five-years old or younger with an adult. No registration necessary. Chappaqua Library 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Chappaqua Farmers Market: 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Head over to Chappaqua for farm fresh produce, meats, fish, cheese, breads and prepared food. Until the weather warms up, vendors and customers will gather indoors at St. Mary’s Church in downtown Chappaqua. 191 S. Greeley Ave.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Parent/Child Book Discussion: 2 p.m. Spend your Sunday afternoon enjoying great books, lively discussion and delicious snacks. Grades 3-4 are welcome with an adult. The booklist is available in the Children’s Room. Register here, as space is limited.

Understanding Sikh Culture: 3 p.m. Co-sponsored with The Chappaqua Neighbors, this presentation will be led by Mona Pasricha, with two films being shown. Chappaqua Library 195 S. Greeley Ave.
