Monday, Feb. 25

Chappaqua Foreign Policy Discussion Group: 10 a.m. Facilitator will lead this discussion about “great decisions.” Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Avenue.

All Together Now: 11:30 a.m. Join the Chappaqua Library for story time. For those 5-years-old and younger, with an adult. No registration is necessary. 195 S. Greeley Avenue.

Informal Writing Workshop: 7:30 p.m. Bring your short prose, poetry, ideas or simply a desire to write, to an evening of supportive feedback with fellow writers. This workshop is led by Joan Schulman and is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Stop by the Chappaqua Library or call the reference desk at 238-4778 to register. Tuesday, Feb. 26

Crochet With Kate: 3 to 6 p.m. Grades five to 12 are welcomed to join Kate for part of her Girl Scout Gold Award project. Kate will start with the basics—hats and scarves—and then move on to amigurumi in this monthly program. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Avenue.

Lego Club: 4 p.m. Grades three to six are welcome for creative construction at the Chappaqua Library. Please register, as space is limited. 195 S. Greeley Avenue.

Town Planning Board: 7:45 p.m. The New Castle Planning board will have a meeting in New Castle Town Hall. 200 S. Greeley Avenue.

Wednesday, Feb. 27

Chappaqua Schools BOE: 8:15 p.m. The Chappaqua Schools Board of Education will propose its first 2013-14 budget. Horace Greeley High School, 70 Roaring Brook Road.

Thursday, Feb. 28

Nursery Rhyme Time: 10:30 a.m. For those 2 or 3 years old, come enjoy some classic nursery rhymes. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Avenue.
