Monday, Nov. 12

Veterans Day: All Chappaqua schools will be closed for the federal holiday.

Tuesday, Nov. 13

Adam Gidwitz Visits: 7 p.m. The author of "A Talk Dark and Grimm" and "In a Class Grimmly" returns. The event is for children in third grade and up. Registration is necessary as space is limited. Chappaqua Library, 200 S. Greeley Ave.

Coffee and Conversation: 7 p.m. All school community families are invited to join Superintendent of Schools Lyn McKay for coffee and conversation. The topic will be extending the elementary school instructional day. Roaring Brook School, 530 Quaker Road.

New Castle Town Board: 7:45 p.m. New Castle Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Ave.

Wednesday, Nov. 14

From Farm to Table: Making Decisions About the Food We Eat: 7 p.m. Chappaqua Library, 200 S. Greeley Ave.

Chappaqua Board of Education: 8:15 p.m. The meeting was postponed from Nov. 7. Horace Greeley High School, Academic Commons, 70 Roaring Brook Road.

Thursday, Nov. 15

New Castle Town Court: 7:30 p.m. Town Court is in session every Thursday at New Castle Town Hall, 200 S. Greeley Ave.
