New Castle's Beginnings­ Our Founding Farms: 1-4 p.m. This will trace our town’s origins from Native American lands through the farms of the 19th century to the large estates and housing developments that turned New Castle into the community we know today. A focus on several local farms and their products will be featured – Sutton Farm, Dodge Farm, Brann Farm, Taylor and Annandale Farms, and of course the Greeley Farm. Free. “Des Colores de Vida/The Colors of Life”: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A collection of oils, pastels and prints by local artist, Patti Goldberg Ettinger. Win a Free Bar/Bat Mitzvah Party/Package at Wee Zee World: Noon to 11.30 p.m. B’nai mitzvah students are being offered a chance to win a free bar or bat mitzvah at WeeZee World of “Yes I Can” in Chappaqua. The “Mitzvah at WeeZee” competition asks b’nai mitzvah candidates to submit a video essay explaining why they would be the best student to do their mitzvah project working with children on the autism spectrum.
