Soul Filled Summer Series for Children: 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. The "Soul-Filled Summer Series" was developed by a group of professional educators, therapists and community members to offer our community a fun and enlightening summer program for children ages 7-11. This series is a unique opportunity for children to experience a time of inward focus within their developmental process. A variety of daily activities include experiences such as teaching, sharing, arts & crafts, journaling, yoga, tai chi and meditation. $350. Center for Aligned Healing, 175 King St., Chappaqua.

Tuesday, July 23 New Castle's Beginnings­ Our Founding Farms: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. This will trace our town’s origins from Native American lands through the farms of the nineteenth century, to the large estates and housing developments that turned New Castle into the community we know today. A focus on several local farms and their products will be featured – Sutton Farm, Dodge Farm, Brann Farm, Taylor and Annandale Farms, and of course the Greeley Farm. Free. Thursday, July 25 Downton Chappy - Costumes of the Downton Abbey Era: 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The exhibit features costumes from the New Castle Historical Society's extensive costume collection and is based on the popular television series, "Downton Abbey." We have a stunning collection of satin and lace wedding gown as well as dresses suitable for receiving guests at home or a night at the opera.
