Chappaqua Foreign Policy Discussion Group: 10 a.m. The group will discuss "The Syrian Conflict: How Will It End & What Role Will Its Neighbors and the U.S. Play?" Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Tuesday, Dec. 11

Open Book Discussion Group: 7 p.m. Christine Bobkoff will lead a discussion on "The Man in the White Sharkskin Suit" by Lucette Lagnado. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Wednesday, Dec. 12

Author Talk: "First Cameraman": 7:30 p.m. 1993 Horace Greeley High School graduate Arun Chaudhary was President Barack Obama's personal videographer during the 2008 campaign and the first 2 ½ years of his presidency. Chaudhary will talk about his time with the president and his inner circle while attempting to document the "true Obama." The event is free and open to the public. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.

Thursday, Dec. 13

Mah Jongg Club: 7 p.m. The Mah Jongg club is for players at all levels. Instruction, as well as coffee, tea and cookies, are provided. The library provides cards, but those attending are asked to bring boards, if possible. Chappaqua Library, 195 S. Greeley Ave.
