Saturday Bake Sale In Chappaqua To Benefit March Of Dimes

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- My 9-year-old twins, Evan and Eloise, were born 13 weeks premature and spent the first three months of their lives in the NICU at Northern Westchester Hospital.

We are so fortunate that today, you could never tell to look at them that they started out as 2-pound preemies. We are "Walking for Babies" later this month. With this year being the 75th Anniversary of the March of Dimes, Evan and Eloise (as Ambassador Kids) wanted to do something more to help to raise funds.

We will hold a Bake Sale in Chappaqua on Saturday, April 13, from 2:30 p.m. onwards (probably until about 5 p.m.) in front of AURORA on lower King Street. We would appreciate it if you could come along and support us with a donation in exchange for some delicious baked goods.

If you can't make it to our Bake Sale and would like to support us as we Walk for Babies, you can make a donation online.

Thank you for your support of March of Dimes. We are so grateful for your help with our precious children. We work hard each year in the hope that other families will have the happy outcome that we did.

Editor's Note: Aurora will donate 10 percent of all sales Saturday to the March of Dimes.
