Mount Kisco Historical Society Hosts Filmmaker Jim Ormond

MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. – The Mount Kisco Historical Society is hosting a free talk with PBS documentary filmmaker Jim Ormond tonight, Wednesday, April 1.

Ormond will discuss his documentary about the brickmaking industry in the Hudson Valley in the late 1800s and early 1900s.

The last Hudson River brickyard closed in 2002, according to a press release.

The talk will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Mount Kisco Municipal Building, second floor Village Meeting Room, 104 Main St.
