Friday, Feb. 1

Artist Reception: 6:30 p.m. The library hosts an opening reception for artist Maria-Esther Magallanes, whose acrylic paintings will be on display until Feb. 16. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.

Saturday, Feb. 2

Summer Opportunities Fair: 1 to 3:30 p.m. Tips on Trips and Camps hosts a fair for kids ages 8 to 18, where they can learn about sleepaway camps, creative and performing arts camps, sports camps, internships, community service opportunities and more. Darien High School, 80 High School Lane.

Sunday, Feb. 3

"Gun Fight" Screening: 2 p.m. The library and the League of Women Voters host a screening of the HBO documentary "Gun Fight," which investigates the issues surrounding guns and the debate on how to end gun violence. Darien Library, 1441 Post Road.
