Kensico Dam's Winter Wonderland Presents Final Weekend

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The final stretch for holiday celebrations has arrived, and Westchester’s Winter Wonderland at Kensico Dam Plaza is offering its final weekend to celebrate.

“There is still time to head to Westchester’s Winter Wonderland to dazzle your kids and experience a truly enchanting evening of fun,” said Joe Stout, executive director of Friends of Westchester County Parks, the event sponsor. “We are thrilled to announce holiday entertainment and performers for the final weekend that will make for a memorable tradition.”

Winter Wonderland has more than 2.5 million LED lights set to a one-hour continuous show choreographed to holiday music (light show is included with admission); an outdoor recreational ice skating rink (skating and skate rentals are an additional cost); Winter Hay Ride and the Wonderland Express ride.

A heated dining tent is available for guests to enjoy a variety of dining options. 

In addition, Winter Wonderland will feature the following special attractions this week:

  • Tuesday: Mrs. Claus and her friend the Gingerbread Man, 4-8 p.m.
  • Wednesday: Mrs. Claus and her friend Rudolph. 4-8 p.m.
  • Friday: Mrs. Claus and her friend the Gingerbread Man, 4-8 p.m.; ice sculptor demonstration, 5-7 p.m.; Miz Liz, strolling entertainer, 5-8 p.m.
  • Saturday: Mrs. Claus, 4-8 p.m.; Winter Ice Queen and friends, 5-8 p.m., with a special stage performance at 5:30 p.m.; ice sculptor demonstration, 5-7 p.m.; Miz Liz, strolling entertainer, 5-8 p.m.
  • Sunday: Mrs. Claus; 4-8 p.m.; Winter Ice Queen and Friends, 5-8 p.m., with a special stage performance at 5:30 p.m.; ice sculptor demonstration, 5-7 p.m.; Miz Liz, strolling entertainer, 5-8 p.m.

Westchester’s Winter Wonderland is open from 4-10 p.m. weekdays and Sundays, and 4-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

Tickets can be purchased by visiting www.wwinterwonderland.com. Adult and child tickets cost $10 while children 3 and younger are admitted free.
