NORWALK, Conn. - Zbigniew John Skarad, 90, of Norwalk, died March 24 at Westport Health Care Center.
Skarad was born in Poland Jan. 22, 1922. For many years, he worked as an electrical wire technician for Norden Systems, Automatic Signal and Flight. During World War II, Skarad served in the Royal Air Force of the British Armed Forces. He enjoyed gardening, baseball and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his son, Richard Skarad; a grandson; and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Dombrowski Skarad.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Magner Funeral Home.
