DARIEN, Conn. The Kings won the house league championship in the Darien YMCA basketball league with a two-point victory over the Heat.
The Kings went 7-2 during the regular season before rolling off five straight playoff wins to win the seventh- and eighth-grade championship Sunday.
Players include Jack Klingman, Tommy Eppley, Brian Keating, Peter Mahoney, Connor Raymond, Dani Kelemen, Kevin Klingman, Spencer Stovall and Robert Garrett. Rick Klingman coached the team.
