FAIRFIELD, Conn. Malcolm Brune, of Fairfield, won the sixth-grade 1-on-1 championship in the Fairfield County Basketball League at Darien High School.
Sunday's competition was part of a series of skills events in the season-ending weekend for the league. Other competitions were held in speed dribbling and free throw shooting.
