This Week on The Daily Pelham Facebook Page

PELHAM, N.Y. – Several readers commented on a variety of topics on The Daily Pelham's Facebook page this week. Here are some of the highlights.

Reader Lis Baumann responded when The Daily Pelham asked if anyone had questions they wanted to ask at Monday night's Pelham Manor board meeting. Baumann could not attend the meeting but wanted to question the board about flooding issues.

"I would like to know if Pelham will be looking into the flooding that occurs at Seventh Avenue and Sixth/Seventh Street every time we have a storm," Baumann wrote. "Since I moved in eight years ago, all I've seen them do is put police barricades up on the flooded areas."

The Daily Pelham asked readers to identify their favorite shop in Pelham. Tom LaGravinese chose Wise Hardware, as did Baumann.

William Ragone, who owns Billy Shears Hair Salon, picked the Pelham Produce Market owned by Richie Bell. Reader Denise Fondonella said the new 5th and Lincoln Deli is an enjoyable place to eat.

Nelly Mendez commented about the earthquake Tuesday to say she did not feel any shaking.
