The Pingree School of Massachusetts rode its 12 seniors to a second New England Small School Prep School championship. They defeated the King School of Stamford, 7-3, at Salem State University in Massachusetts.
Pingree ace Brendan Oliver fired a complete-game five-hitter, struck out 10 and didn't walk a single batter.
