Hudson Valley Exposition Returns To Peekskill

PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- The Hudson Valley Exposition — a mini­ world's fair — will be returning in Peekskill after a 70-year hiatus in New York State.

The historic reintroduction of this event will be held rain or shine on Saturday, Aug. 1, from noon to 9 p.m. at Riverfront Green Park.

“We are bringing back the Exposition as part of the Chamber's 100, " said Deb Milone, exposition director and executive director, Hudson Valley Gateway Chamber of Commerce. "This is the perfect way to tie our past and present to our bright future and showcase what the Hudson Valley has to offer today. If you come to the Exposition, you will experience things you haven't experienced before. You won't want to miss this memorable event."

Popular main stage entertainers and performers will include The Daisy Jopling Band, The Joni Blondell Band, Tony Leon, Mark McIntyre Band, Ray Blue, Vintage Vinyl, and Noodle Noodle.

In addition there will be unique kids activities, historical re­-enactments, trendy businesses, and the best of the Hudson Valley's food, craft beer and wines — all of which will be capped off by the Entergy Spectacular Laser The Exposition is accepting vendor applications for the following areas: holistic/wellness, Energy, Technology, and Industry, Kids Activities, Artisan Marketplace and Hudson Valley restaurant row.

A variety of sponsorship levels remain including Main Stage Music, Kids Stage, Children's activities area, and more. In order to receive maximum exposure in marketing and public relations efforts, sponsorship opportunities close on or about Monday, June 1.
