Scarsdale Burglary Suspect Arrested Again

SCARSDALE, N.Y. – A White Plains man arrested April 28 and charged with burglarizing a Scarsdale home was arrested again Wednesday, May 2, when he failed to appear in court.

Jose Manuel Vidal-Serrano, 23, had been released on recognizance after his arrest while leaving the property of the home he is accused of burglarizing, police said. When he did not appear for his scheduled May 2 court date, Judge John H. Galloway III issued a warrant for his arrest. Scarsdale police arrested Vidal-Serrano at 11:30 a.m. at his home, booked him at the police station and took him to court, police said.

Galloway set a new court date for May 9 and remanded Vidal-Serrano to the Westchester County Jail without bond, police said.
