Car Window Smashed At Briarcliff Library: Police

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, N.Y. – Someone smashed the front passenger window of a car that was parked at the Briarcliff Manor library and stole numerous items from the car, police said.

Victim Alexa D'Agostino of White Plains told police that her car was parked at the library on Oct. 8 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

There were no suspects, police said.

Also in Briarcliff:

- The Shaw residence at 2 Cherry Hill Ct. was egged on Oct. 9 at around 10 p.m., police said.

Family members told police that it was not necessary to send an officer to the house, but they wanted to advise police that someone in the area was throwing eggs.

- A 19-year-old Briarcliff resident was arrested on Oct. 9 at around 1 a.m. for driving with a suspended license after she failed to stop at a stop sign on Elm Road, police said.

Kelly Koreen was released of her own recognizance with an Oct. 24 return court date.

- A youth drove into a tree on Long Hill Road on Oct. 7 at around 5:45 p.m., police said.

The youth was taken to Phelps Memorial Hospitals with minor pain caused by the vehicle's airbag.

- A grounds foreman at Todd elementary school on Ingham Road told police on Oct. 12 at 8:40 a.m. that someone had driven their vehicle onto the school's soccer field, damaging the lawn.

There were no suspects, police said.
