The drive will start at 11 a.m. with a 28-mile car parade. A barbecue, car show, raffles and music will follow at 12:30 p.m. All proceeds from the Drive and Dine III will be donated to the nonprofit organization Wounded Warrior Project (WWP), which supports a full range of programs and services for this generation of injured veterans and their families.

More than 52,000 service men and women have been injured in recent military conflicts. In addition to the physical wounds, it is estimated that as many as 400,000 service members live with the invisible wounds of war including combat-related stress, major depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Another 320,000 are believed to have experienced a traumatic brain injury while on deployment. The 20 programs and services provided by WWP are uniquely structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement.

Father-son duo, Michael and Justin Snow have planned a fun day of activities. Those who don’t have a car to join the convoy are strongly encouraged to come and enjoy lunch and a car show to support the Wounded Warrior Project.
