Dress Up, Attend Attractions At Chappaqua's Raggamuffin Parade, Carnival

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The New Castle Parks and Recreation Department presents its Raggamuffin Parade and Carnival on Sunday, Oct. 19.

The carnival will begin at 12:30 p.m. and the parade will step off at 3:30 p.m. 

A variety of carnival attractions include a bounce castle, obstacle course, giant slide and go carts. Patrons are invited to visit the friendly witches den, pirates cove and the great pumpkin.  

Tickets are required for carnival attractions. Music will be provided by DJ Paul Vito, Chris Fox and Mojo Monde Band. The Blue Crew Marching March, The Dixie Dandies, Music Makers Unlimited Marching Band will perform. 

Children will have the opportunity to make their own sand art necklaces. 

Food, cotton candy and popcorn will be available for purchase. Complimentary munchkins and apple juice will be provided by Chappaqua's Dunkin' Donuts. 

"A rain date is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 26. If there is inclement weather on Sunday, Oct. 26, the rain site is Robert E. Bell School Gymnasium."
