It is one of 425 school districts in the United States and Canada being honored by the College Board with the placement for increasing access to advanced placement course work while simultaneously maintaining or increasing the percentage of students earning scores of 3 or higher on AP Exams.

To be included on the honor roll, Greenwich schools, since 2013, had to increase the number of students participating in advanced placement while also increasing or maintaining the number of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.

"It is an incredible testimony for our students and staff to have Greenwich Public Schools selected for the 3rd straight year to the AP Honor Roll," said Superintendent Bill McKersie.

He continued that the award is "another reminder that Greenwich Public School teachers are among the best at personalizing and accelerating learning for all students."
