Former Fairfield State Rep. Endorses Tetreau

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Susan Barrett is a former state representative from the 132nd District and former member of the Fairfield Board of Finance. She submitted this letter to endorse Michael Tetreau, the Democratic candidate for first selectman.

We have a unique opportunity to have a highly qualified individual lead our Town of Fairfield into the future. Michael C. Tetreau has demonstrated his many leadership skills while serving as our interim first selectman.

Over these past few months, First Selectman Tetreau did not skip a beat. He worked well with our many town agencies to guide Fairfield through Storm Irene. Residents had that sense of security and that everyone was on the same page on behalf of them.

Michael C. Tetreau has had a well-balanced career. Leadership is his hallmark. He manages to get people to work together for the common good. When he managed a major security lock company, he had the DIRTFT program for his employees. Wow, what a concept: Do It Right The First Time. He has used this attitude in all that he does.

Just what the Town of Fairfield ordered during these challenging times. Though there are others seeking the position, Michael C. Tetreau is ready to lead. Joining with Cristin McCarthy Vahey, they will be a team that all Fairfielders can be proud of. I hope you will join me on Nov. 8 and vote for them.
