Music in Chappaqua is offering Fall Rock Workshops for an hour each week with a coach from our amazing faculty to work on song repertoire. At the end of the Fall session, December 8, students bands will be performing at NYC's The Bitter End!

Don't miss this exciting opportunity to rehearse weekly with a band and rock out on one of NYC's most famous states! Students can continue to rock out during the school year with friends from camp! The New York Rock Academy provides every student with a unique, multi-faceted experience. Our students not only gain a strong music education but also learn valuable life skills in the process.

We believe that attention to detail and hands on experience are key to success. Class sizes are small and instructors cover the material that is appropriate for each class. Ensembles are modeled after real bands, with each student playing an important role. Bands do not consist of 5 guitars, 3 drummers, 2 bass players and a singer that can't be heard. That's not a band...that's noise! In order for students to see their progress they participate in a live performance for family and friends to enjoy.

Our instructors are patient and have many years of music and teaching experience. They know how to maintain a healthy balance between teaching what the student wants to learn and what is best for his or her development.
