Chappaqua Library Hosts Civil War Author Talk

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Author Jamie Malanowski will visit the Chappaqua Library to discuss his book on Civil War hero Will Cushing at 7 p.m. Friday.

Cushing, who was was the author of many daring exploits, most notably, the sinking of the CSS Albemarle, is largely forgotten today.

Malanowski is a member of the original staff of Spy and has been an editor at Time, Esquire and Playboy. He was also the recipient of the 2012 Folio Award for Feature Writing.

The Chappaqua Library is at 195 S. Greeley Ave.
