Chappaqua Celebrates Autumn With Parade, Fall Festival

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Chappaqua will host a Fall Festival and Ragamuffin Parade this weekend.

On Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Fall Festival will take over downtown with mobile archery, carnival games, arts and crafts, an inflatable Velcro wall, an apple pie contest and more.

The Ragamuffin Parade and Halloween Carnival will take place at the Chappaqua Train Station on Sunday. Rain date is Oct. 25. Festivities begin at 12:30 p.m. and the parade begins at 3:30 p.m.

The carnival will include a bounce castle, giant slide, games, festive food such as cotton candy, go carts and more. A disc jockey and Chris Fox and Mojo Band will provide live music.

The Blue Crew Marching Band, Dixie Dandies Marching Band, Music Makers Unlimited, Chappaqua Fire Department, Chappaqua Ambulance and Dracula will participate in the parade.
