The music titans will take the Venetian Theater stage for an evening of music ranging from jazz to rock and pop, jam bands to bluegrass and virtuosic performance.

Pat Metheny first burst onto the international jazz scene in 1974. Over the course of his three-year stint with vibraphone great Gary Burton, the young Missouri native already displayed his soon-to-become trademarked playing style, which blended the loose and flexible articulation customarily reserved for horn players with an advanced rhythmic and harmonic sensibility - a way of playing and improvising that was modern in conception but grounded deeply in the jazz tradition of melody, swing, and the blues.

Thirteen-time Grammy nominee Bruce Hornsby has built one of the most diverse, collaborative and adventurous careers in contemporary music. Drawing from a vast wellspring of American musical traditions, the singer/pianist/composer/bandleader has created a large and accomplished body of work and employed a vast array of stylistic approaches.

Receiving his first drum set at age 4, Emory was influenced by the quality time spent with his father, a saxophonist, and his grandfather, a keyboardist. Emory played in his elementary and high school bands and went on to become a part of the orchestra and jazz ensemble in college. In 1986, a move to Los Angeles proved to be where opportunity met preparation. There, he began his transition to becoming a professional drummer, playing with Joe Sample and the Crusaders.

From 1987 to 1999, Emory was the drum chair with the legendary R&B group Earth, Wind & Fire. He co- wrote the tune "Cruising," which can be heard on the score to Spike Lee's 1998 motion picture, "Get On the Bus."

In addition to the food and beverage concessions, Road Hog Food Truck will also be at Caramoor.
