Autism Expert Patricia Lemer Will Speak At WeeZee In Chappaqua

CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- WeeZee kicks off the school year with an education series for parents and professionals by hosting Patricia Lemer, author of the newly released book, "Outsmarting Autism."

The event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 3, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 pm. A reception will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a talk with Q&A from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will end with a book signing at 8 p.m. 

Lemer will share her 30 years of successful strategies used to identify, prevent and manage neuro-processing disorders that cause Learning Disabilities in children.

Parents and professionals will learn how children can avoid errors in information transmitted through the body to the brain. Her book discusses how the child can establish a strong foundation for appropriate sensory reaction through focused communication, interaction and integration.

Lemer's diverse network of patients and professionals has contributed tips/tricks that families, specialists and educators can put to use immediately to “outsmart autism.” 

WeeZee coaches will be available for kids while parents participate in the lecture. A light Italian dinner of gluten- and casein-free foods will be available. The program is designed for parents, caregivers, educators, medical, legal, clinical professionals and anyone else that is interested.  There is a registration fee of $20 per family.
